Services Provided/Population Served: Residential facility for adolescent girls. Services include education, behavior modification, and equine-assisted therapy with the goal of family reunification.
Student Responsibilities: Availability of practicum questionable. Students assist in behavior modification and counseling; participate in treatment team meetings.
Hours of Operation: 24 hour residential.
Available supervision: LCSW and psychiatrist on rotation; CSW available; May be problematic.

Life Adventure Camp

Services Provided/Population Served: Serve adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders during a 5-day summer session in the woods of Estill County.
Student Responsibilities: Physically demanding. Intensive training on and off site before program begins. Opportunity to learn safe crisis intervention techniques, first aid and CPR. Duties include 24 hour supervision of clients and individual and group counseling.
Hours of Operation: Normal business hours for office. Program runs for two months during the summer (approximately 8 5-day sessions).
Available supervision: Executive director, Mary Oldiges, LCSW, may be available for supervision. Would be in addition to demanding time requirements of 5-day sessions.
